Çalışmanın amacı, enflasyonun ücretlilerin yaşam koşulları üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde asgari ücretliler ve en düşük düzey maaş alan emeklilerin enflasyon karşısındaki durumu incelenmiştir. Bu anlamda, çalışma 2003 fiyatları ile 2003-2023 yılları arasında asgari ücret ve emekli maaşlarının durumunu araştırmaktadır. Bu örneklemin seçilmesinin nedeni bu toplumsal kesimin enflasyonun etkilerini en kötü koşullarda deneyimlemesidir. Yöntemsel modelimiz teorik ve ampirik yaklaşımların bir kombinasyonuna dayanmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonucu reel asgari ücretin kapitalistlerin kar hedeflerine uyum sağlayana kadar düşmek zorunda oluşudur.

Abstract
The aim of the study is to reveal the impact of inflation on the living conditions of wage earners. Within the framework of this aim, the situation of minimum wage earners and pensioners receiving the lowest level of salary against inflation was examined. In this sense, the study investigates the situation of minimum wage and pensions between 2003-2023 with 2003 prices. The reason for choosing this sample is that this social segment experiences the effects of inflation in the worst conditions. Our methodological model is based on a combination of theoretical and empirical approaches. The result of the study is that the real minimum wage must fall until it adapts to the profit targets of capitalists.
